CHARACTERISTICS OF SMOKY QUARTZ
Smoky quartz symbolically represents protection against negative energies, strength, and the transformation of darkness into light.
Smoky quartz is formed when colorless quartz (or crystal quartz) is exposed to natural radiation for millions of years.
This causes the aluminum atoms present in the quartz to change color, resulting in a yellow-brown hue.
Depending on the intensity of the radiation, the tone of the smoky quartz will be darker or lighter.
